Participating in Online Surveys – A Q&A Guide
Participating in online surveys is a convenient way to share opinions and often receive a reward for it. However, technical and procedural issues can arise, leaving participants confused or frustrated. This article offers clear answers to common questions about online surveys, from technical problems and compensation to the frequency and type of surveys you can expect. Let’s clarify your questions and optimize your online survey experience.
Did You See an Error Message at the End of Your Survey?
Did you recently complete a survey but encountered an error page at the end instructing you to contact Cint member support, as shown in the images below?
After reviewing and confirming completion, the reward will be added to your panel account. Please be aware that it can take up to 4 weeks for the project to close. Feel free to contact us after 4 weeks to confirm the status of your reward. To help us assist you as efficiently as possible, save the original survey link, the name of the panel, and any details regarding the survey duration, topic, and reward.

Note: If you didn’t receive an original survey invitation link, include the respondent GUID information that was shown on the error page you received. If you don’t have the respondent GUID information, provide the approximate date and time (including time zone) of the survey, along with additional details as described above.
Why Am I Not Receiving Any Surveys or Unable to Respond to the Survey I Was Invited To?
Surveys are sent automatically when your profile best meets the survey requirements. If you are not suitable for the survey you were initially selected to participate in, it may be because some surveys require more specific information than the system can initially provide.
Instead of wasting your time with answers that can’t be used, the survey ends earlier (usually within the first few questions).
Why Did I Receive Less Than Indicated in an Invitation and Was Placed in Another Survey?
This usually happens when you were invited to a survey that may have closed, reached the quota of people matching your profile, or you were disqualified shortly after starting it, and then redirected/invited to another survey more suitable for you. You were informed of the incentives and asked to accept or decline before starting. As you accepted, after completing, you were rewarded appropriately according to what was stated in that specific survey description.
I Completed a Survey; Why Didn’t I Receive Credit?
Market research companies create targeted surveys to reach specific demographics for their studies. If your profile or responses don’t meet the specific niche they’re looking for, you’ll be screened out or disqualified. In some cases, a survey may reach its quota while you’re halfway through completing it, and at the end, you won’t receive credit because it will be considered “Quota full.”
We recommend accessing surveys as soon as possible to maximize your chances of qualifying.
Why Am I Not Receiving Any Surveys?
We recommend that you take some time to complete or update your profile with accurate information, making it easier for us to match you with surveys.
When updating your profile, you also have the opportunity to select your preferred survey frequency. The frequency may also vary depending on our clients’ needs.
Surveys are automatically sent to your email or displayed on OpinionAPP when your profile meets the survey requirements.
How Often Should I Participate?
To remain an active panel member, we recommend frequently participating in the surveys sent to you. Participation is voluntary, and if you decide not to take a survey, simply click the decline link.
What Types of Surveys Will I Be Invited To?
As a panel member, you’ll be invited to surveys covering a wide variety of topics, durations, and levels of involvement.
Surveys are sent or displayed automatically on OpinionAPP when your profile meets the survey requirements.
Are Surveys Free?
Your participation in surveys is completely voluntary. There’s no cost to answer surveys, you’re free to join and leave whenever you like, and only participate in surveys you are interested in responding to.
